Haha, you have three guesses! When I found out that Tommy Karevik will be the one to sing for and with Kamelot... and, a few month later, to hold this album in my hands (well, I think it's the best Kamelot album so far).

Haha, drei Mal dürft ihr raten! Als ich herausgefunden habe das Tommy Karevik derjenige sein wird, der für und mit Kamelot singt... und, ein paar Monate später, das Album in meinen Händen zu halten (nun, ich glaube es ist das bisher beste Kamelot Album).

Negative moments of 2012:

I really love Kamelot and was shocked when Roy Khan - one of the best voices of the music biz - left the band in 2010/2011. Then the band announced that Fabio Lione would take over lead vocal duties for Khan for their "Poetry Of the Poisoned" tour and I stopped following the news about the band. It was like "ok, that's it, good bye!". I mean, I do like his work with Rhapsody Of Fire but, imho, his voice doesn't fit for Kamelot. This band needs a clear powerful voice, no thin reedy falsetto. In the beginning of 2012 I heard about an upcoming album and asked our dear Uncle Google for info on the new singer. Bla, bla, so, to cut a long story short (I'm babbling too much, I know), the very short time between "Stupid Google, work faster!" and "Tommy Karevik!?" was my worst moment in 2012.

Ich mag Kamelot wirklich sehr und war geschockt als Roy Khan - eine der besten Stimmen des MusikBiz - 2010/2011 die Band verließ. Dann gab die Band bekannt, dass Fabrio Lione den Gesang für Khan während der "Poetry Of The Poisoned" Tour übernehmen würde und ich hörte auf News über die Band zu lesen. Es war wie ein "Ok, das war's, tschüss!". Ich meine, ich mag seine Arbeit bei Rhapsody Of Fire, aber seine Stimme passt meiner Meinung nach nicht zu Kamelot. Diese Band braucht eine klare, kraftvolle Stimme und kein dünnes, näselndes Falsett. Anfang 2012 hörte ich von einem kommenden Album und fragte unseren lieben Onkel Google nach Infos über den neuen Sänger. Bla,bla, also, um's kurz zu machen (ich plappere zu viel, ich weiss), diese sehr kurze Zeit zwischen "Blöder Google, arbeite schneller!" und "Tommy Karevik!?" war mein schlimmster Moment 2012.

Red Rag 2012

Labels who publish one Compilation after another, always with the same old songs of one band. Yeah, they're trying to earn money but all they do is to put fans off with this behavior.

Little Teeniegirls at metal gigs, trying to "dance", jumping on your feet, kicking the persons in front of them, hitting the ones to the left and right, and telling the photographers to "go home if you're here just to take photos!". I have some news for you kiddies: you're at a live metal gig, not in a discotheque and we, the photographers, are trying to do our work to get photos online YOU want to see and fill magazines YOU love to read - even when there's no photo pit to protect us from you freaks. Got it? Great!

Copycats that steal photos and texts, cutting the original copyright off to publish that stuff with their own copyright. Most stupid phrase you get to hear when mailing them, asking them to take photos or texts down: "Ooooh, I'm so sorry, I didn't know..."... yeah, sure...

Rotes Tuch 2012:

Labels, die eine Compilation nach der anderen veröffentlichen, immer mit den gleichen alten Songs einer Band. Klar, sie versuchen Geld zu verdienen, aber alles was sie machen ist mit diesem Verhalten Fans zu vergraulen.

Kleine Teeniegirls auf MetalGigs, die zu "tanzen" versuchen, auf deinen Füssen herumspringen, die Leute vor ihnen treten, die rechts und links danaben schlagen und den Fotografen sagen, dass sie doch "heimgehen sollen, wenn sie nur da sind um Fotos zu machen!". Ich hab Neuigkeiten für euch Kinder: ihr seid auf einem live MetalGig, nicht in einer Disko, und wir, die Fotografen, versuchen unsere Arbeit zu machen um die Fotos online zu bekommen, die IHR sehen wollt, und die Magazine zu füllen, die IHR gerne lest - selbst wenn da kein Fotograben ist, der uns vor euch Freaks schützt. Kapiert? Gut!

Copycats, die Fotos und Texte klauen, das Original Copyright löschen um diese Dinge dann unter eigenem Copyright zu veröffentlichen. Die dämlichste Phrase, die man zu hören bekommt, wenn man sie dann anmailt um sie zu bitten die Fotos oder Texte offline zu nehmen: "Ooooh, es tut mir so leid, das wusste ich nicht..." ... ja, klar...
